ADAO Gives Honors to Victims

The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization gives honors to victims of asbestos from April, 2007. This day happens to be the International Workers Memorial Day.
In the world today, the most common and first carcinogen is asbestos which results into 54% of mesothelioma cancers, and other asbestos related cancers in the world.
This occasion was given celebrated with so much happiness, and over 100,000 workers that were killed as a result of mesothelioma cancer, and other asbestos related cancers.
In as much as we are in the 21st century, the effects of the exposure during the 19th century are being manifested now. Mesothelioma cancers do not show signs and symptoms until after 2-3 decades. This has been proven many times, and it is seen in many people who have been exposed during this period.
The treatment of mesothelioma is very expensive and this have made many mesothelioma patients to suffer over a long period of time. Also these treatment of mesothelioma involves a lot of procedures, such as staging, diagnosis, and many others. All these put together increases the cost of mesothelioma, and these allows mesothelioma patients to go through a hard time.
But the happy thing in this situation is that mesothelioma patients can file a law suit against these asbestos users. If the mesothelioma patients can’t identify when he or she was exposed to asbestos.
If a good lawyer handles this case, the patient or the successor will be entitled to a compensation from the asbestos users.
There are many victims of mesothelioma today who do not even know they have the disease, and this malignant disease continues to fight and spread which now makes it totally inpossible to be eliminated.
Many asbestos workers and users, including residents living around asbestos companies, and factories have been asked to go through medical check up in order to ascertain if they are liable to fall will the disease.
The most important thing in this situation is prevention. For those who still engage in the use of asbestos are endangering the lives of people and themselve. This poses a treat to human lives, and when they are caught, strict punishment awakes them.
