On the 19th of July was a steam pipe explosion which caused a lot of problems for many individuals. People who live near this area have been asked not to go near their homes until total clean-up of the area have been made. The total clean-up might take a couple of weeks, if not months.
Also those who have offices or work places around the area have been asked the same thing, not to go near the area until after clean-up.
The Department of Environmental Protection’s Bureau of Environmental Compliance have taken series of air samples to test for the availability of asbestos in it. This is to prevent the inhalation of this carcinogenic substance. As we all know, this substance have caused mesothelioma cancers in many people have these mesothelioma patients now have no cure to rely on aside from palliative and some measures to further help prolong their lives.
In the results of the test carried out on the air samples, 60% of the different samples taken was tested positive, and this is a signal to the people to carry out a lock down of air. Also medical stations have been made to help victims who inhaled it to be quickly attended to. You can be quite sure that a lot of people don’t want to end their live having mesothelioma cancers. Their live is so valuable to them, and also to the United State of America.
While the information of these exposure is widely spread, more people are getting aware of the fatality with the mesothelioma cancers, and this has greatly helped to reduce mesothelioma patients.
